2017 MACHS Field Day Weekend- August 12-13
Come on out for Field Day 2017!
You Are Invited
...to a weekend packed with homeschoolers!
Here are the details:
Saturday Field Day
You are invited to have a day of family friendly sports and fun competition for all ages, and reconnect with homeschool families from all over Manitoba. This event is intended for Christian homeschool families. Join us for track and field races, team sports, and crazy relays, as well as lots of “socialization” for kids and adults. Hosted at Morning Sound Farm, near Sanford, 15 minutes southwest of Winnipeg, there is lots of space for parking, picnics, playing, and even camping.
Arrivals will begin at 9:30, with events beginning at 10:00 and continuing until supper. Families will bring their own food for a picnic lunch. Supper will be a cookout with families bringing their own meat and buns, and salads and desserts to share. We will provide the condiments, you bring the plates, cups, drinks, etc. Pre-registration will be required and the cost will be $10 per family for MACHS members, $15 for non-member families, with grandparents invited for free.
Camping over through Sunday
On Saturday evening, we will enjoy time around the fire, followed by camping out and then on Sunday we will have morning worship and afternoon activities. This time is open to all families. We can accommodate tents, campers, whatever you have. Families can also go home over night and come back in the morning. Two meals will be provided for Sunday, breakfast and lunch for $7 total per person, or a max of $35 per family.
